iCloud: Difficulty downloading documents with Internet Explorer
If you use Internet Explorer version 8 or 9, you may experience difficulty downloading documents from icloud.com:
- In Internet Explorer 8, the icloud.com interface may quit unexpectedly when you attempt to download a document.
- In Internet Explorer 9, attempting to download a document will open the View Downloads list, but options to Open or Save the document do not respond.
This may occur if the default iCloud address is used in the Trusted Sites settings. When adding icloud.com to Internet Explorer's Trusted Sites list, by default the address added will be https://www.icloud.com.
To resolve this issue, use "*.icloud.com" (without quotations) as the address in the Trusted Sites list instead.
