What is Cards?
Cards is an iOS app that allows you to you create and mail beautifully crafted letterpress cards personalized with your own text and photos — right from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. 

To create a card, choose from dozens of designs in eight categories including Holiday, Thank You, Baby, Birthday, Love, Travel, Get Well, and Mother's Day. You can also choose the Any category to create a card for any occasion you wish. Next, customize your card with a personal message and photo. Then, select up to 12 addresses from your Contacts, and place your order in seconds using your Apple ID password. All your cards are saved automatically, so it’s easy to resend an invitation, birth announcement, or holiday card to another person at a later date.

Cards is a universal app and is optimized for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. Cards requires iOS 6.

Can I create cards for occasions other than Holiday, Thank You, Baby, Birthday, Love, Travel, Get Well, and Mother's Day?
Yes. Any card in any category can be customized by adding your own photo and replacing the sample text with your own sentiment. All of the text is editable. You can also choose the Any category to start your card from scratch and create a card for any occasion you wish.

Why is the app telling me that it can't verify my address?
Cards attempts to match addresses to a known address database. If there is not an exact match, Cards lets you know that it could not verify the address. It is recommended that you double check your address when this happens. However, the address may still be valid even if you receive this message.

Note: You will not receive a Delivery Notification for addresses that cannot be verified.

What should I do if I am having trouble ordering a card?
If you are having trouble placing your order, the payment method associated with your Apple ID may not be supported. Cards currently supports payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB only. You can change your payment method on your iOS device by tapping Settings > Store > Apple ID, or in your Apple ID account settings in iTunes > iTunes Store on your computer. You may also want to check to ensure that your Apple ID password has not expired.

Can I send the same card to multiple addresses?
Yes. To send a card to multiple recipients, tap Envelope, and then tap Add Recipients. Begin typing your recipient’s name, and tap to select the intended address. To add an address that is not in your contacts, tap Envelope, and then tap Edit to add an address.

To resend a card you have already sent, or to use a card as a template, tap Saved Cards, locate the card you want to send, and tap on the blue Duplicate button. You can then choose a new address to send the card to another person. You can also choose to edit the card. You can also send a card to another person just after making it by tapping "Mail to Another Recipient" on the Thank You screen right after your card is uploaded.

Why does Cards require location data?
Cards needs to access your location data in order to access your photos which may be tagged with location data. Location data is also used to add the name of your current location to some card designs in the Travel category.

Why does Cards require iOS 6?
Cards uses a number of iOS 6 enhanced technologies, including core animation and address verification.  

What is a CVV and how do I enter it?
After entering your Apple ID password, you may be prompted to enter a CVV. The CVV is the security code for the credit card associated with your Apple ID account, and is used to confirm your payment. The CVV for Visa and Mastercard is a three-digit code on the back of the card. The CVV for American Express is a four-digit code on the front of the card. For more information, reference How to find the security code on a credit card.

How long does it take to receive a card?
Cards mailed within the United States should arrive within 5 to 7 business days from the time the order is placed. Cards mailed internationally should arrive within 9 to 16 business days.
