iCloud: Distinguishing between Calendars and Reminders in iCal

In iCal there are two types of Calendars:
- Event-based Calendars: A calendar comprised of events that correspond to a day, week, month, or year. You create events in these calendars for things like an appointment at a specific date and time. This is the more traditional type of calendar.
- Reminders Lists: A list comprised of Reminders (also known as Tasks or To-Dos) that are not necessarily tied to a specific time frame, but which can be organized under a named list. Reminders Lists while based on calendar technology, appear differently in apps like iCal for OS X Lion:
- Both Calendars and Reminders use the CalDAV protocol to manage and update your data between iCloud and your various devices you use with iCloud.
- New Reminder Lists will not automatically be created for each new Calendar you create. For example, you could have "Home," "Work," and "Appointments" Calendars, and you could create "Work," "Planning," and "Shopping" Reminder Lists.
