Mac App Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases

OS X Lion:

1. Open the Mac App Store.
2. Choose Store > Sign In, then enter your Apple ID and password.
3. Click on "Purchases".
4. Locate the item you would like to hide. 
5. Click on the "X" to the right of that item.




6. The item will fade and the item below it, if there is one, will rise to replace it in the list.

OS X Mountain Lion:

1. Open the Mac App Store.
2. Choose Store > Sign In, then enter your Apple ID and password.
3. Click "Purchases".
4. Locate the item you would like to hide.
5. Right-click on the item and choose "Hide Purchase".
6. A prompt will be displayed asking if you are sure you want to hide the item. Click the Hide Purchase button if you are sure.
7. The item will fade and the item below it, if there is one, will rise to replace it in the list.

Note: You will no longer receive update notifications for items after they've been hidden from your Purchases page. 

1. Open the Mac App Store.
2. Choose Store > Sign In, then enter your Apple ID and password.
3. Choose Store > View My Account.
4. Click on View Hidden Purchases from the Account Information page. 




5. From the Hidden Purchases page, locate the app you would like to unhide.
6. Click the Unhide button.
