Computers that can be upgraded to use Lion Internet Recovery
Summary
Some Macintosh computers that shipped before the release of OS X Lion can use the Lion Internet Recovery feature after applying a firmware update to the system.

Download and install an updated EFI Firmware ROM for these computers to use the Lion Internet Recovery feature:
