In most cases, you will see no difference when you import a presentation to Keynote for iOS from Keynote for Mac. If your presentation uses features that are not available in Keynote for iOS, you will be prompted whether you would like to open the original version or to create a copy, and changes made to the content or presentation layout are listed for your review.

Below is a list of the changes that are made to Keynote for Mac presentations that are imported and converted to the Keynote for iOS optimized file format:

  • Recorded audio (voiceover narration) is not imported.
  • Comments are not imported.
  • Web links and slide-to-slide links are maintained. All other links are removed.
