Alva BC680: Device keys for VoiceOver navigation

When using an Alva BC680 braille display and VoiceOver with iOS, you can use the following key commands to navigate.

Router Row 1 Double-tap the selected item
Router Row 2 Double-tap the selected item
Status Router Row 1 Toggle expanded status description
Status Router Row 2 Toggle expanded status description
Left Smartpad Left Move to previous item
Left Smartpad Right Move to next item
Left Smartpad Up Move to previous item using rotor setting
Left Smartpad Down Move to next item using rotor setting
Left Smartpad Enter Select the item under your finger
Right Smartpad Left Move to previous item
Right Smartpad Right Move to next item
Right Smartpad Up Move to previous item using rotor setting
Right Smartpad Down Move to next item using rotor setting
Right Smartpad Enter Select item under your finger
Left Smartpad 1 Activates the Home button
Left Smartpad 2 Goes to the status bar
Left Smartpad 3 Activates a Back button if present
Left Smartpad 4 Pause or continue speech
Right Smartpad 1 Activates the Home button
Right Smartpad 2 Goes to the status bar
Right Smartpad 3 Activates a Back button if present
Right Smartpad 4 Pause or continue speech
eTouch 1 Pan braille to the left
eTouch 2 Move to previous item using rotor setting
eTouch 3 Pan braille to the right
eTouch 4 Move to next item using rotor setting
Thumb 1 Select the item under your finger
Thumb 2 Pan braille to the left
Thumb 3 Pan braille to the left
Thumb 4 Pan braille to the left
Thumb 5 Pan braille to the left
Thumb 6 Pan braille to the right
Thumb 7 Pan braille to the right
Thumb 8 Pan braille to the right
Thumb 9 Pan braille to the right
Thumb 10 Select the item under your finger

Additional Information

At this time the Feature Pack Perkins keys are not supported.
