You can find your serial number in several places:
- On the surface of the product
- On the original product packaging
- On the original receipt (or invoice)
On the surface of the product
The serial number on the Apple Magic Trackpad is located on the bottom near the power button.
To view the serial number, turn the Magic Trackpad over and place it on a lint-free cloth or other protective surface. The serial number is etched onto the aluminum chassis near the frame, as shown in the image below.
On the original product packaging
If you still have the original packaging for the product, you can find the serial number on the barcode label that is affixed to the packaging.
On the original receipt (or invoice)
Some retailers may include the serial number of your Magic Trackpad on the receipt.
Additional Information
AppleCare registration numbers and Apple hardware product serial numbers may sometimes contain the number "0" (zero), but not the letter "O".
