Using an external email account: forwarding to MobileMe and sending with external address
Summary
You can set up many popular email services to forward messages to your MobileMe address so you can read all your email in your MobileMe inbox. This also allows incoming messages from the external email service to be pushed to your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, and me.com as soon as they arrive at the MobileMe servers.
After you set up forwarding, you can configure the MobileMe Mail web application to allow you to send messages using your external email address instead of your me.com address.
