iCal, Mac OS X v10.6: Recurring Exchange events not properly rendered

Summary

In some cases, iCal in Mac OS X v10.6.2 and earlier may not properly render recurring Microsoft Exchange events which have a set end date.

Products Affected

Mac OS X 10.6, iCal, Microsoft Exchange

  1. Download and install Mac OS X v10.6.3 or later.
  2. Remove your Exchange calendar account from iCal
  3. Add your Exchange calendar back.  

After re-adding the Exchange account, all types of recurring events should render in iCal.
