Summary

Select the option to “Create unique output directory” in Compressor for transcoding to image sequences.

Products Affected

Compressor, Final Cut Server 1.x

When creating custom Compressor settings that you use to transcode clips to image sequences at upload to Final Cut Server, be sure select the option to “Create unique output directory” in the Image Sequence encoder pane when you create the custom setting in Compressor. This will store the image sequence output files in their own folder allowing for easy upload of the image sequence to Final Cut Server as a single asset. Also, be sure to select the option to "Add leading zeros to frame numbers."
