Final Cut Server 1.5: Best practices for naming image sequence files
Summary
Multiple sets of numbers in file names of image sequences can cause Final Cut Server to interpret each individual image of an image sequence as separate and unique image sequences at upload.

Final Cut Server 1.x
For best results when uploading image sequences to Final Cut Server:
- You should use only a single set of digits in the filenames of image sequences. The digits that appear in image sequence filenames represent frame numbers, and additional sets of digits can cause unexpected behavior in image sequences that contain them.
- Add leading zeros to frame numbers to accommodate for increasing subsequent frames in the image sequence. When using Compressor to transcode clips to image sequences, be sure to select the option to "Add leading zeros to frame numbers" in the Image Sequence encoder pane when you create the custom setting in Compressor.
