How do I set up a Bluetooth headset with my Mac?
If you have a Bluetooth module installed in your Mac, or you are using a USB Bluetooth adapter, you can use a wireless, Bluetooth-enabled headset for audio input and output. Once you've paired your Mac with the headset, it acts as your Mac's microphone and speakers.
How do I mute audio on a Bluetooth headset?

What if I hear static on my Bluetooth headset?
Other wireless devices may cause interference that sounds like static or other issues with your Bluetooth headset. See Static heard on Bluetooth headset for more information.
When waking my Mac from sleep, why are the internal speakers being used instead of my Bluetooth headset?
When waking your Mac from sleep, the Bluetooth headset will revert to the default audio output. If music was playing through the Bluetooth headset before the Mac went to sleep, the music will continue to play through the default audio output. This is to prevent unnecessary use of the batteries in your Bluetooth headset. To choose your Bluetooth headset as the output method again,
Open System Preferences.
Click Sound.
Click the Output tab.
Choose your Bluetooth headset from the list.
Alternatively, you can use the Bluetooth menu bar extra to re-connect to your headset.
How do I use a Bluetooth headset with iChat?
A wireless Bluetooth-enabled headset can be used for iChat audio input and output.
What do I do if my mouse responds slowly when I'm using my Bluetooth headset?
If your Apple Wireless Mouse responds slowly (or erratically) while you are using a Bluetooth headset, its firmware may need to be updated.
What do I do if items in my Bluetooth preference pane (or menu bar extra) are dimmed and unavailable?
Items in your preference pane or menu bar extra (including headsets) may be dimmed and unavailable if a custom installation of Mac OS X was performed on your Mac which didn't include the BSD Subsystem.
