MobileMe: Migrating from .Mac HomePage movie pages to MobileMe Gallery or iWeb

If your movie is available in iMovie '08 or later
If you have your movie data available in iMovie '08 or later, you can easily republish your movie to MobileMe Gallery

If your movie is not available in iMovie '08 or later
If your movie data is not in iMovie '08 or later, locate it on your iDisk:

1. Go to the MobileMe login page, and log in with your MobileMe membername and password. (Or, in Mac OS X, from the Finder, select Go > iDisk > My iDisk).
2. Navigate to the Movies folder. 
3. Locate the file. 
4. Download or copy the file to your computer.

Note: The Movies folder is the default location for movie files to be stored for HomePage pages. However, if you manually created the page, it may be located elsewhere on your iDisk (for example, the Pictures or Public folders).

Once you copy or download the movie to your computer, you can publish it using iWeb, or add it to your MobileMe Gallery by importing the the video into iMovie and then publishing to MobileMe.

Confirm that your movie was published correctly
If you published your movie to a Gallery, you can confirm t is online by visiting http://gallery.me.com/yourmembername
If you published the movie with iWeb, you can confirm the content is online by visiting http://web.me.com/yourmembername/PageName.html

Remove the previously published HomePage
After confirming that your movie has been successfully published via iWeb or to your Gallery, you can remove it from your previously published HomePage:

1. Visit the page, and note the website address.  For example:
   http://homepage.mac.com/membername/Movie1.html
2. If that is the address of the page you wish to delete, go to the MobileMe login page and log in with your MobileMe membername and password.
3. Open the Sites folder and locate the file named Movie1.html and delete it.

This will remove the previously published page from HomePage, but will not remove the now unused copy of the movie file from your iDisk. To remove the unused file:

1. Go to the MobileMe login page and log in with your MobileMe membername and password. (Or, in Mac OS X, from the Finder, select Go > iDisk > My iDisk).
2. Navigate to the Movies folder.
3. Locate the file.
4. Delete the file (if you have not already done so, you may want to copy the file to your computer first).
