您可使用“系統描述”查看您的 Mac 是否支援 Quartz Extreme：
- 開啟“系統描述”(位於 /應用程式/工具程式)。
- 點按左邊面板的“圖形∕顯示器”
- 在右邊面板中找到“Quartz Extreme：支援”(或“不支援”)
如果您的顯示器不只一部，則每部顯示器的“Quartz Extreme”值可能都不相同。
附註：為了在 Mac 上充分利用 Quartz Extreme 的功能，您需要以下顯示卡：
- ATI：任何 AGP 介面的 ATI RADEON GPU，含 16 MB 以上的 VRAM
- NVIDIA：NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 或以上版本，含 16 MB 以上的 VRAM
Microsoft Windows 與 Safari 4
如果要在 Microsoft Windows 上使用 Safari 4 的這些功能，需要：
- DirectX 9.0 或以上版本
- 與 DirectX 9.0 相容的視訊卡，含 32MB 以上的視訊 RAM (建議 64MB 以上)
秘訣：如果您的顯示卡應該相容，可是無法在 Safari 4 中使用這些功能，請更新顯示卡的驅動程式。
