Safari 4: Top Sites och Cover Flow-funktionerna kräver ett kompatibelt grafikkort

Om Top Sites och Cover Flow inte fungerar i Safari 4 bör du kontrollera att grafikkortet stöder Quartz Extreme (för Mac OS X) eller DirectX 9 (för Microsoft Windows).

Mac OS X och Safari 4

Du kan använda Systeminformation för att se om din Mac stöder Quartz Extreme:

  1. Öppna Systeminformation (i /Program/Verktygsprogram)
  2. Klicka på "Grafik/Bildskärmar" i vänstra rutan
  3. I rutan till höger letar du efter "Quartz Extreme: Stöds" (eller "Stöds inte")

Om du använder mer än en bildskärm kan varje bildskärm ha ett eget värde för "Quartz Extreme".

Obs! För att kunna använda Quartz Extreme på din Mac behöver du ett av följande grafikkort:

  • ATI: Valfri AGP-baserad grafikprocessor från ATI RADEON med 16 MB grafikminne (VRAM) eller mer
  • NVIDIA: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX eller senare med 16 MB VRAM eller mer
     

Microsoft Windows och Safari 4

För att kunna använda dessa funktioner med Safari 4 i Microsoft Windows behöver du:

  • DirectX 9.0 eller senare
  • Ett DirectX 9.0-kompatibelt grafikkort med 32 MB VRAM (64 MB eller mer rekommenderas)

Tips! Om ditt kort är kompatibelt och funktionerna ändå inte fungerar i Safari 4 kan du prova att uppdatera drivrutinerna till grafikkortet.
