Puoi utilizzare System Profiler per scoprire se il tuo Mac supporta Quartz Extreme:
- Apri System Profiler (in /Applicazioni/Utilities)
- Fai clic su "Grafica/Monitor" nel pannello a sinistra
- Nel pannello a destra, cerca la voce "Quartz Extreme: Supportata" (o "Non Supportata")
Se disponi di più monitor, ciascuno di essi avrà un valore differente per "Quartz Extreme".
Nota: per sfruttare al meglio Quartz Extreme sul tuo Mac, è necessaria una delle seguenti schede grafiche:
- ATI: ogni ATI RADEON GPU basato su AGP, con 16 MB VRAM o superiore
- NVIDIA: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX o versione successiva, con 16 MB VRAM o superiore
Microsoft Windows e Safari 4
Per utilizzare tali funzioni compatibilmente a Safari 4 su Microsoft Windows, avrai bisogno di:
- DirectX 9.0 o successiva
- Una scheda video da 32 MB di RAM video (meglio se da 64 MB o superiore)compatibile con DirectX 9.0
Suggerimento: qualora la scheda fosse compatibile ma le funzionalità si rivelino inutilizzabili in Safari 4, prova ad aggiornare i driver della scheda grafica.
