If you do not have Yahoo! Mail Plus, when you attempt to configure a Yahoo! account in Mail, you may see an alert such as:

"Trying to log into mail server 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com' failed. This server may require an additional fee for Yahoo POP access."
