For example, perhaps you upgraded to a Family Pack account and your sister created a trial account, but you still have a Family Member account available (as part of your Family Pack) account that you want to give to your sister.

  1. Cancel the trial account (the person who created it should do this). Important: Before canceling the trial MobileMe account, back up any information that you wish to keep. The trial account will be canceled immediately after you confirm the cancellation. The following steps should be preserved within a few days of canceling the trial account to preserve data.
  2. Log in to your Family Pack account via https://secure.me.com/account/ .
  3. Click "Account Options".
  4. Click "Set up account".
  5. Select "Convert Existing Account".
  6. Enter the cancelled trial account's username and password.
  7. Click continue.

The cancelled trial account will be reactivated as a member of your Family Pack account, and any previous data will be preserved if you perform the above steps within a few days of canceling.
