iMovie '08: Pure Digital Flip Video MinoHD camcorders

Summary

Follow these guidelines to use Pure Digital's Flip Video MinoHD camcorders with iMovie 7.1.2 or later.  You will also need to update to QuickTime 7.5 or later.

Be sure you are running the latest version of iMovie by choosing Software Update from the Apple () menu. 

  1. Connect your MinoHD camcorder. In iMovie, choose Import Movies from the File menu.
  2. Select your camcorder in the import window sidebar. Select the DCIM folder, then select the 100VIDEO folder. For each video you recorded, you will find a video file in .MP4 format.



  3. Select the files you would like to import. Select a destination, Event name, and video size.
  4. Click Import.
