MacBook Air (Mid 2009), MacBook Pro (17-inch, Mid 2009), MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009), MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009), MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2.53GHz, Mid 2009), MacBook Pro (17-inch, Early 2009), MacBook (13-inch, Aluminum, Late 2008), MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2008), MacBook (13-inch, Late 2009)
Choose Software Update from the Apple () menu to download and install the Migration and DVD/CD Sharing update to the MacBook (13-inch, Aluminum, Late 2008) or MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2008) computers you are migrating to and from, then try your migration again.
MacBook Pro and MacBook Air computers released in 2009 do not require the installation of this update, but the computer you are migrating from might. Apply the update to that computer and try the migration again.
