The aluminum Apple Wireless Keyboard (2009) requires:

Apple Magic Mouse requires:

  • A Macintosh computer with built-in Bluetooth.
  • Mac OS X v10.5.8 Leopard with Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0 or Mac OS X v10.6.1 Snow Leopard with Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0.
    Note: Momentum scrolling supported only on Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard.

  • A Macintosh computer with built-in Bluetooth.
  • Mac OS X v10.4.10 or later.
  • Two AA batteries for the Apple Wireless Mouse (2007).
  • Three AA batteries for the Apple Wireless Keyboard (2007).

The original Apple Wireless Keyboard or Apple Wireless Mouse require:

  • A Macintosh computer with built-in Bluetooth or a D-Link USB Bluetooth Adapter (part number DBT-120, rev. B2 or later).
  • Mac OS X v10.2.6 or later.
  • Two AA batteries for the Apple Wireless Mouse.
  • Four AA batteries for the Apple Wireless Keyboard.
