To use the Apple Wireless Keyboard or Apple Wireless Mouse with a computer that does not have built-in Bluetooth, you can use the USB Bluetooth adapter described in this document.
Apple has tested these Bluetooth adapters for use with the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple Wireless Mouse:
- Built-in Bluetooth hardware included with some Macintosh computers. For a list of computers that have built-in Bluetooth hardware, see technical document 86207, "Bluetooth: Macintosh Computers With Built-In Bluetooth", to see which computers have built-in Bluetooth.
- D-Link DBT-120 USB Bluetooth adapter (rev. B2 or later)
Note:
Apple tests its products with various non-Apple peripherals so that your experience is as good as possible. With the number of non-Apple products available on the market, however, it is not possible to test and verify every possible configuration.
