You can use Apple Loops from GarageBand and GarageBand Jam Pack with Soundtrack.

GarageBand installs loops in this directory:

/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Apple Loops/

In Soundtrack, you can add this directory as a Favorite or add it to the index list.

To add to the GarageBand Apple Loops to the index list in Soundtrack:


  1. Open Soundtrack.
  2. Click the Search tab in the Media Manager.

  3. Click the Setup button.

  4. Click the "+" button to add the /User/Shared/GarageBand/ directory.

  5. Click the Index Now button.
