Products Affected
iTunes
To burn Audible spoken word files to an audio CD in iTunes:
- Open iTunes.
- Select the Audible tracks in the Library that you want to burn to CD (Shift-click for contiguous selection, or Command-click for separate tracks - Control-click in Windows).
- From the File menu, choose New Playlist From Selection.
- Type a name for the playlist and press Return.
- Click Burn Disc.
- Insert a blank CD-R disc. Note: If the book requires more space than is available on the CD-R (between 70-80 minutes for most CD-R discs), an alert will appear that says
"The single song in this playlist will not fit, do you want to create multiple CDs?"
This alert will only appear for a single book file. If the book contains multiple files, each of which is larger than the space available on a CD-R, you will need to create separate playlists for each file and burn these playlists individually. - Select Audio CD as the disc format.
- Click Burn Disc.
- Insert additional blank CD-R discs when prompted.
Note: Protected Audible files cannot be converted to other formats.
