Summary

Apple Remote Desktop 1.2 is not supported in Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger." If you install Apple Remote Desktop 1.2 on a computer running Tiger, you will find that it does not work properly. Tiger requires Apple Remote Desktop 2.2.

Updating to Apple Remote Desktop 2.2

  1. Install Apple Remote Desktop 2.x from the CD onto an admin computer, then restart it.
  2. If your version of Apple Remote Desktop is version 2.0, use Software Update to download and install the version 2.2 update.
  3. Use the admin computer to update clients.
