The printer list
Before you can use a printer, it must appear in the Printer List. You may need to install additional software to add your printer to the Printer List. To learn more about the printer list, see technical document 106707: "Mac OS X: How to Add a Printer to the Printer List".
Adjusting the page setup
Before you print your document, you may want to change the paper size, scale, or image orientation. To do this, choose Page Setup from the File menu, then choose Page Attributes from the Settings pop-up menu.
The Print command
To print your document, there are two ways to issue the Print command:
- Choose Print from the File menu, or
- Use the Command-P key combination
The print dialog appears as a sheet attached to your document's window.
