MobileMe: Email account specifications

Mailbox size

You have 20 gigabytes (GB) of storage on the MobileMe servers with a full MobileMe account. Family Pack child accounts each have 5 GB of storage. You can designate storage space between your MobileMe email account and your iDisk. For example, if you want more storage space for your email messages, you can set your MobileMe mail storage capacity to 16 GB and reserve 4 GB of storage for your iDisk.

Sending Messages

MobileMe has several safeguards to ensure that only MobileMe members send messages with the MobileMe outgoing mail server. Among them are reasonable limitations on:

• The number of messages you can send each day (200 messages)
• The number of recipients to whom you can send each day (1000 recipients)
• The number of recipients per message (100 recipients)
• The size of incoming and outgoing messages (20 MB)
