MobileMe Sync

The MobileMe syncing log file is named "dotmacsync.log", and can be found in ~/Library/Logs/Sync ("~" represents your Home folder).

Or, you can find them using Console:

  1. Open Console (located in /Applications/Utilities)
  2. In the upper left corner, click "Show Log List"
  3. Click the disclosure triangle next to "~/Library/Logs"
  4. Click the disclosure triangle next to "Sync"
  5. Click "dotmacsync.log"

The most recent activity is logged in "dotmacsync.log". You have additional the log files (ending with a number), which are earlier archived log files.

Using Console, you can save a copy of the log file to your desktop or another location using the Save a Copy As choice from the File menu.
