Mac OS X Mail: Hvad er et winmail.dat-bilag?
Du har måske tænkt over, hvad winmail.dat-bilag er – bilag, som Mail viser med et "spørgsmålstegn over teksten"-symbol.
Mail, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Exchange Client
Bilaget betyder, at e-posten var sendt fra et Microsoft-e-post-program (som Outlook og Microsoft Exchange Client) og indeholder RTF-oplysninger om, hvordan skrifttyper, farver og særlige attributter som understregning eller fed skrift skal vises i e-posten (bilaget vises ikke i Outlook, men vises i Mail, og det vises muligvis i andre e-post-programmer som en MIME-sektion med navnet "application/ms-tnef").

For at undgå at få vist disse bilag fremover skal du bede afsenderen om at fravælge "Send til denne modtager i Microsoft RTF-format" for e-posten eller indstillingen for e-post-klienten, før de sender meddelelsen.
