Downloading Software

To download iTunes and iPod software, navigate to the iTunes download page at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Before you download, make sure your web browser is enabled to download files.

To enable file download in Internet Explorer:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click Custom level.
  5. In the Settings pane, scroll to the Downloads section.

  6. Select the Enable radio button in the File download section.
  7. Click OK to close Security Settings.
  8. Click OK to close Internet Options.
    Select the Windows download option.

If you do not want to receive email about New Music Tuesday and special iTunes offers, click to deselect the “Email me New Music Tuesday” checkbox.

If you do not want to receive email about Apple news and updates, click to deselect the “Keep me up to date with Apple news” checkbox.

If you want to receive email, type your email address.

Click the Download iTunes button. A File Download window appears:

Click Save, and choose where you want to save the file.
