How to retrieve a lost key

Tip: You can login to the Apple Store with the Apple ID you used to purchase the key and retrieve a copy of the key.

Outside Canada and the United States

  • If you purchased a QuickTime Pro key after 13 April 2001, contact the customer service number of The Apple Store . This number is available at the bottom of The Apple Store Web page for each region.
  • If you purchased a QuickTime Pro key from the QuickTime Web site before 13 April 2001, please consult your email or other records from that period for your key.

 

Additional Information

You can only retrieve a lost QuickTime Pro key if you purchased it through the Web. In most cases, the key will be identical to the key you lost.

If you purchased your QuickTime Pro upgrade from another source, the key is not available for retrieval and you must purchase another key from The Apple Store.
