iPhone: Signal or other interference while in carrying case

Summary

If iPhone is experiencing any signal strength, interference, or other issues while it is in a carrying case that uses magnetic clips to secure the phone, try the following:

  1. Remove iPhone from the carrying case.
  2. Turn iPhone off and then on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. Use iPhone to verify the issue is no longer present.

If the issue is no longer present, discontinue use of the case.

If the issue persists, contact AppleCare for service.
