Canceling your MobileMe subscription

Summary

You can cancel your MobileMe subscription at any time during your 60-day free trial. You can also cancel for a full refund within 45 days of when your credit card is charged for an annual subscription or renewal.

How to cancel your MobileMe subscription

  1. If you’re not already logged in to your MobileMe Account, go to the www.me.com/account and log in.
  2. Click Account Options in the sidebar (on the left).
  3. Click Cancel Account at the bottom of the window. 

If you've removed the credit card information from your account, the Cancel Account button will not be shown. Replace the credit card information for your membership in Billing info to see the Cancel Account button.

Important: Your account will be deleted after you confirm the cancellation. 

Note: Once you've cancelled, you will lose access to MobileMe Mail and future mail sent to that account will be returned to the sender. Your online data, including email, contacts, calendar, iDisk files, and MobileMe Gallery, will also be deleted from MobileMe and over-the-air syncing with iPhone and iPod touch will stop. If you need to save any of this information, learn how to back up files stored on MobileMe.

If you activated or renewed your MobileMe account with an activation key, contact the store that you purchased the key from.
