Canceling your MobileMe account
Summary
You can cancel your MobileMe subscription at any time during the free 60-day trial period, or within 45 days of being charged for your subscription (as stated in the MobileMe Terms and Condition).

To cancel your subscription:
- Go to (www.me.com) on your Mac or Microsoft Windows-based PC
- Log in if you’re not already logged into your MobileMe account
- Click the Account button at the top of the window
- Click Account Options in the left sidebar
- Click the Cancel Account button at the bottom of the window
Additional Information
If you don’t see the Cancel Account button, the subscription is already past the 60-day trial period and you can no longer cancel the subscription yourself. Contact MobileMe Support to cancel your account and receive a prorated refund as outlined in the MobileMe Terms and Conditions.
The Support Team will need to confirm your identity prior to canceling your MobileMe account; please provide:
- Your MobileMe member name
- Your birth day and month
- The answer to your password question
- An alternate email address at which you can be contacted
Important: Before canceling your MobileMe account, back up any information that you wish to keep.
If you activated or renewed your MobileMe account with an activation key, you will need to contact the reseller from which you purchased the key.
