Summary

When you first enable MobileMe syncing of contacts, calendars, or bookmarks on your iPhone, it may take a few minutes for your data to completely sync down.

Products Affected

.Mac Sync, MobileMe, iPhone

To help improve performance of the initial sync, make sure you are connected to a WiFi connection (or, if you have a 3G iPhone, are in a location that has a good 3G connection).  Syncing works over Edge; however, during the initial setup a large amount of data may be downloaded to your iPhone, so connecting via WiFi or 3G is recommended.

Note: A sync is complete when the spinner icon is no longer present at the top of Contacts, Calendar, or Safari Bookmarks.
