Logic Pro X: Logic Remote may not connect with Logic Pro X

Logic Remote may not connect with a computer running Logic Pro X on the same Wi-Fi network.

This may be caused by the computer's firewall settings. If the OS X firewall is enabled and the setting to "Block all incoming connections" is activated, Logic Remote will be unable to connect. To turn off the setting:

  1. Choose System Preferences from the Apple () menu.
  2. Click Security & Privacy.
  3. Click the Firewall tab.
  4. Click the Firewall Options button. You may have to click the lock at the bottom of the window and authenticate with an administrator password to access the button.
  5. Disable the option to "Block all incoming connections" checkbox in the upper-right corner.
  6. Click OK.
