iMac (Mid 2007): How to clean your computer

Follow these general rules when cleaning the outside of your computer and its components:
- Use a damp, soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in any openings.
- Do not use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives.
WARNING: Do not use acetone, alcohol, or any alcohol-based cleaners on your computer. Never spray cleaner directly onto your computer. Liquid could drip inside the screen or case and cause an electrical shock.
Cleaning your iMac display
Use the cleaning cloth that came with your iMac to clean the display.
To clean your iMac display:
- Shut down your iMac and disconnect all cables.
- Dampen the cloth that came with your iMac, or use another clean, soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water only, and wipe the screen.
- Use iKlear to clean your display.
- Do not spray liquid directly on the screen.
