How to download iTunes on Windows XP
Summary
There are some security features in Internet Explorer with Windows XP Service Pack 2 that you should know about. Read the following instructions to learn more about how to download iTunes.

Downloading Software
- When you download new software (including iTunes and iPod software), a new information bar appears near the top of the Internet Explorer window.

- Click this information bar and select Download the File...

- A File Download window appears:

- Click Save, and choose where you want to save the file.
Clicking on links to the iTunes Store (without first installing iTunes)
- If you don't have iTunes installed, and you click on a link to the iTunes Store in an email or on a webpage, you will now see a message reading: "The page cannot be displayed." This page also has the new information bar near the top with the following text: "The previous site might require the following Active X control : 'iTunes Detector' from Apple, Inc. Click here to install."

- Click this information bar and select Install ActiveX Control

- An Internet Explorer - Security Warning appears.

- Click Install.
