AppleCare Protection Plan: How to find your AppleCare registration number

To register your recently purchased AppleCare Protection Plan for an iPad, iPhone, iPod, Mac, Apple TV, or Apple display, you will need your AppleCare registration number. 

To find this number, check inside your AppleCare Protection Plan retail box for a card or booklet called "Activate your coverage today" or "Web Registration Instructions." At the bottom is your registration number:

Note: If you do not have the retail box or cannot find the card or booklet inside, contact AppleCare Agreement Support with your original receipt (or purchase order) and the serial number of the product covered by the agreement.
