Mogelijk dient u te controleren welke versie van Microsoft Windows op uw computer is geïnstalleerd om er zeker van te zijn dat u in uw versie iTunes, iPod, QuickTime of andere Apple-producten kunt gebruiken. Voer deze stappen uit om na te gaan welke versie u gebruikt:

- Klik met de rechtermuisknop op Deze computer en klik op Eigenschappen om het venster Systeemeigenschappen te openen. (Het pictogram Deze computer bevindt zich in het menu Start of op het bureaublad.)
- Klik op het tabblad Algemeen om de versiegegevens van het besturingsysteem weer te geven.
Indien nodig kunt u de laatste updates voor Windows XP downloaden en installeren via Windows Update.
