Vous pouvez devoir vérifier la version de Microsoft Windows installée sur votre ordinateur afin de vous assurer qu'elle fonctionnera avec iTunes, iPod, QuickTime ou d'autres produits Apple. Pour connaître la version installée, procédez comme suit :

- Cliquez avec le bouton droit sur Poste de travail et cliquez sur Propriétés pour ouvrir la fenêtre Propriétés système. (Votre icône Mon ordinateur peut être située dans le menu Démarrer ou sur le bureau.)
- Cliquez sur l'onglet Général pour afficher les informations de version du système d’exploitation.
En cas de besoin, vous pouvez télécharger et installer les dernières mises à jour pour votre ordinateur Windows XP via Windows Update.
