只要您遵守以下指示，iMovie ’08 或以上版本就應該能配合 Sony HDR-CX11、HDRCX12、HDR-SR1 與 HDR-SR7 攝影機使用 AVCHD (高畫質) 和 MPEG-2 標準畫質 (SD) 的內容。

如果 Sony HDR-CX11、HDRCX12、HDR-SR1、HDR-SR7 和 HDR-SR12 攝影機內同時擁有 HD (AVCHD) 與 SD (MPEG-2) 內容，iMovie ’08 或以上版本就能輸入 SD (MPEG-2) 內容。如果要把 HD (AVCHD) 內容輸入 Intel 型 Mac，就必須先清除攝影機上的 SD (MPEG-2) 內容。
