Hvis Sony HDR-CX11-, HDRCX12-, HDR-SR1-, HDR-SR7- eller HDR-SR12-kameraet har innhold av både typen HD (AVCHD) og SD (MPEG-2), kan iMovie ’08 og nyere versjoner importere SD (MPEG-2)-innholdet. Men for å kunne importere HD (AVCHD)-innhold til en Intel-basert Mac-maskin må du først slette SD (MPEG-2)-innholdet i kameraet.
