Resending iTunes Gifts and Gift Certificates

Have you sent someone an iTunes gift or an iTunes Gift Certificate for the iTunes Store, but your recipient never received it (maybe you typed the email address incorrectly, your friend accidentally deleted it, or the email never was received)?

Resending gifts purchased from the iTunes Store

  1. Open iTunes
  2. Click on iTunes Store on the left-hand side of the screen.
  3. Click iTunes Store

  4. Click on your account name (or the Sign In button) to sign in to iTunes.
  5. Click Sign In

  6. Enter your Apple ID and password, then click View Account.
  7. Enter your Apple ID and password

  8. Click Purchase History.

  10. Locate the gift that you would like to resend.
  11. Click the small gray arrow next to the gift.

  13. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, enter the recipient's email address, and then click Send Again.
  14. Enter recipient's email and click Send Again button

Tip: Just to make sure that your gift doesn't get overlooked or lost a second time, you might want to send your recipient an email or make a call to let him or her know to be on the lookout.
