Summary

If you start from a Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Install DVD and inspect your Time Machine backups, the date and time of the backups may be shown in PST (Pacific Standard Time).

For example: If your computer is set to use JST (Japanese Standard Time Zone) and you start from your Leopard Install DVD, a backup made at 12:23:16 will appear to have been made several hours after (at 19:23:16 in this example).

Products Affected

Mac OS X 10.5

You can still restore from the backup regardless of the time stamp variance.
