iWeb ’08: Backing up your Domain file

You should periodically back up your Domain file, which contains all the data in your iWeb project.

Follow these steps to back up your iWeb Domain file:

  1. First, locate your Domain file on your computer.  By default, it is located in your iWeb folder:

     

  2. Click the Domain file to select it.
  3. From the File menu, choose Duplicate:

    A copy of your Domain (Domain Copy) will appear next to your original Domain file.

  4. Now that you have created a copy of your Domain, you can drag it to another hard disk or burn it to a disc for storage.
