iPhoto '08: Enhancing image resolution of your Web Gallery images

The iPhoto 7.1.2 update enhances the resolution of images in your Web Gallery to a 1024 x 768 size, allowing for improved viewing on the web and Apple TV.

In order to enhance the images in your Web Gallery, follow the steps below:
- Quit iPhoto.
- Use Software Update to update to iPhoto 7.1.2.
- Open iPhoto.
- Open Preferences (choose iPhoto > Preferences).
- Click the Web Gallery tab.
- Select the Check Now button* (As seen in the image below).
The updated iPhoto '08 (v 7.1.2) will also enhance the images in your Web Gallery automatically if you have your Web Gallery set to automated update in Preferences. An individual Web Gallery album will automatically be enhanced if any of the images within the album are modified in the application itself.
*Note: The length of time it will take to update all the images on your Web Gallery will vary based on the number of Web Gallery albums or images in a Web Gallery, the amount of bandwidth you have available, and/or other external factors.
