Aperture and iPhoto: Editing billing information

Summary

If you need to make changes to your billing information for your Apple ID, follow these steps.

Products Affected

Aperture 2.x, Aperture 3.x, iPhoto '08 (7.x), iPhoto '09, iPhoto '11

iPhoto ’09 and earlier or Aperture 2

  1. Verify that your computer is connected to the Internet, then open iPhoto or Aperture.
  2. Select a photo from your library by clicking it one time. If you are in full-screen mode,
  3. From the File menu, choose Order Prints.
  4. Click either Account Info or Set Up Account.
  5. Enter your Apple ID and password where prompted and click Sign In.
  6. As soon as you sign in, the ordering system will automatically enable 1-Click ordering on your account.
  7. To make changes to your billing information, click Edit Billing. Enter any desired changes and click OK on the bottom right to save your changes.
  8. Click Cancel (your account info will still be saved).

Aperture 3

  1. Verify that your computer is connected to the Internet and then open Aperture.
  2. Select a photo from your library by clicking it one time.
  3. From the File menu, choose Order Prints.
  4. Click either Sign In or Create Account.
  5. Enter your Apple ID and password and click Sign In.
  6. To make changes to your billing information, click Edit Billing. Enter any desired changes and click OK at the bottom right to save your changes.

iPhoto ’11

  1. Verify that your computer is connected to the Internet and then open iPhoto.
  2. From the main iPhoto window, click a Book or Card from the Project section of the Source list. If you are in the Book shelf view, double click a Book or Card. 
  3. Choose Buy Card or Buy Book at the bottom of the screen. 
  4. Enter the quantity and select Check Out.
  5. Enter your Apple ID and password and click Sign In.
  6. To make changes to your billing information, click Edit Payment. Enter any desired changes and click Continue at the bottom right to save your changes.
