Mac OS X 10.5: Web Gallery Upload button is disabled

Summary

The Web Gallery Upload button (for a .Mac Web Gallery) may be disabled in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, regardless of your iPhoto settings.

Photos can still be uploaded to a .Mac Web Gallery album via email.

In order to upload photos to your Web Gallery via email in Mac OS X 10.5, make sure the "Send to Album" button on your Web Gallery is enabled:

  1. In iPhoto, select the album to which you want to upload photos.
  2. Click the Web Gallery icon at the bottom of the iPhoto application to open the Publish settings sheet.
  3. Check the "Allow photo uploading by email" and the "Show email address to visitors" boxes.
  4. Click "Publish."

After performing these steps, visitors can upload photos to a Web Gallery Album via email. They can do this by attaching an image to an email (iPhoto is not needed).
