How to Change Your Apple ID Name
If you'd like to change your Apple ID, go to myinfo.apple.com. Please note that some Apple IDs, such as a MobileMe or iChat accounts, can't be changed.
1. Go to myinfo.apple.com and choose your location and language.
2. Log in using your current Apple ID and password.
3. Choose Apple ID from the sidebar on the left.
4. Enter your new Apple ID in the Apple ID field.
NOTE: Some Apple IDs cannot be changed, like the one in this example. In that case, you must create a new one.
